Dr. Soonchan Eom was appointed Chief Surgeon of Tokyo Nagumo Clinic in 2000 — the first Korean physician ever to hold the role. Carrying the clinical experience and surgical protocols developed at the Tokyo headquarters, he opened Umnagumo Plastic Surgery in 2003 in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, as the Korea branch.
