Nagumo Group Technologies & Protocols

A summary of the single-specialty breast-surgery technology assets established by Tokyo Nagumo Clinic since its 1988 founding. Signature procedures Mia Femtech™ (minimally invasive breast augmentation) and Preservé™ (glandular-tissue preserving reduction & mastopexy), the standard implant lineup, imaging-diagnosis protocols, anesthesia and revision-safety systems — the same standards established at Tokyo HQ are shared at the Korea branch.

Mia Femtech™ — Minimally invasive breast augmentation system

Tokyo HQ signature procedure

A breast augmentation procedure system developed in-house at Tokyo Nagumo Clinic. A bundle of minimally invasive protocols aimed at small incisions, short downtime, and natural-looking shape.

Combines small implants (Motiva Mini class), narrow pocket dissection, and precision suturing protocols to shorten recovery time and flatten the recovery curve back to exercise and daily activities. Tokyo HQ accumulated case data feeds into the same evaluation standards applied at the Korea branch.

  • Small implants + precision pocket dissection
  • Endoscope-assisted field of view minimizes bleeding
  • A single attending team handles first consultation through aftercare
  • Shared with Tokyo HQ accumulated case data

🇰🇷 KOREA ADAPTATION

The Seoul branch can apply the same protocol (subject to pre-screening based on body type and existing implant condition).

Preservé™ — Glandular-tissue preserving reduction & mastopexy system

Tokyo HQ breast reduction / mastopexy procedure

A procedure system dedicated to breast reduction and mastopexy at Tokyo Nagumo Clinic. Focused on reshaping form while preserving glandular tissue and nipple-areolar blood supply to the maximum extent possible.

Integrates pedicle design that preserves lactation function and nipple sensation, incision patterns that minimize scarring, and internal suturing techniques for long-term shape retention through capsule formation. Applicable to both reduction cases (large breasts) and mastopexy cases (sagging breasts).

  • Pedicle design preserves nipple-areolar blood supply
  • Incision lines designed with lactation / sensory function in mind
  • Internal suturing for long-term shape retention
  • Applicable to simultaneous reduction + mastopexy cases

🇰🇷 KOREA ADAPTATION

Korea branch — same procedure applicable. Pre-operative evaluation is tuned for Korean body types and glandular distribution.

IMPLANT LINEUP

Standard implant lineup

Three global brands are kept on hand to match body type, existing condition, and patient preference: Mentor (US), Motiva (Costa Rica), and Sebbin (France).

Mentor

United States — Johnson & Johnson

MemoryGel® / MemoryShape® lineup

Varied CoreGel cohesive texture. Wide selection between round / teardrop and moderate / full-high profiles.

Motiva

Costa Rica — Establishment Labs

Ergonomix® / TrueFixation®

BioSIM™ surface, ProgressiveGel Ultima™ viscoelasticity. Standard implant for the Mia Femtech™ procedure.

Sebbin

France — SEBBIN

Micro-texture + round / teardrop lineup

European-origin implant. Stability data alongside simultaneous availability in the Korea and Japan markets.

* Implant choice should be discussed in detail with your medical team during consultation. This page summarizes the standard lineup used across the Tokyo ↔ Seoul group.

PROTOCOLS

Supporting protocols

Ultrasound + MRI integrated imaging diagnosis

Pre-operative precision assessment of implant rupture, capsular contracture, seroma, and capsule thickness for breast revision cases. The imaging evaluation protocol established at Tokyo HQ is applied identically at the Korea branch.

Board-certified anesthesiologist on-site throughout surgery

A board-certified anesthesiologist is on-site throughout the procedure at both Tokyo HQ and the Korea branch. Monitoring standards and emergency response manuals are shared.

Single-surgeon accountability — no shadow doctor

Tokyo HQ’s founding principle is applied identically. The consulting physician and operating surgeon are the same person, and the same medical team manages recovery and follow-up.

Revision-surgery safety protocol

Standardized evaluation and surgical protocols per revision case type — capsular contracture (Baker I~IV), bottoming-out, lateral displacement, upper-pole fullness, implant rotation / rupture, asymmetry, synmastia, double-bubble, and more.

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER

Tokyo HQ ↔ Seoul branch — knowledge transfer channels

  • Tokyo HQ ↔ Korea branch clinical staff exchange at least once per year
  • Sharing of Tokyo HQ live surgical-education footage (Nagumo Group YouTube channel)
  • Tokyo HQ clinical data is reviewed first when introducing new implants or new techniques
  • Mutual consultation channel for difficult revision cases (capsulectomy, pocket conversion)
