Chief Complaint
The patient had concerns about post-operative outcomes such as capsular contracture and sensory change, and presented seeking improvement of breast contour.
Procedure
Motiva 360cc bilateral, trans-axillary incision.
Post-operative Course
Operated by Dr. Junghyun Nam (Director). Capsular-contracture prophylactic medication was discontinued due to adverse effects; management proceeded with clinic-guided massage and compression-band use.
Hypersensitivity was observed for some time post-operatively, which subsided by approximately 2 months. Sensation recovered to near pre-operative baseline by 3 months.
Initial firmness was present but softened over time. Owing to the trans-axillary approach, upper-limb range of motion was limited for about 1 month, then improved.
